B. SurineniIn the city of Hyderabad, you may be able to see about 200 species of birds during the migratory season − October to February. House crows, sparrows, doves, common mynahs, and red-vented bulbuls are commonly seen but in the open areas and gardens, one could see the sunbirds, white-headed babblers, munias, and the magpie robin. Unfortunately our city is rapidly losing its parks and greenery to urbanization. The birds at our zoo are a reminder that we have a responsibility in preventing the felling of trees and encroachment of parks in our city.
